Managing your subscription

How do I update my contact, billing or payment details?

To update or change your details, simply log in and follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to My Account, located in the top right menu of brisbanetimes.com.au.
  2. Select your option from the quick links on the My Account homepage or use the navigation tabs at the top of the page.
  3. Ensure you select 'Save changes' after making updates to your details.

When does my subscription renew?

Our subscription packages are ongoing and automatically renew, there are three easy ways to find out the renewal date of your subscription.

  1. Login to My Account, located in the top right menu of brisbanetimes.com.au. Select 'Manage your subscription' from the quick links on the My Account homepage or navigate to the 'Subscriptions' tab to view your subscription details.
  2. Check the start date listed on your confirmation email you received at the beginning of your subscription.
  3. Contact our customer service team by submitting a request or phone 13 66 66.

How can I cancel my subscription?

We hate to see you go, but if you'd like to cancel your subscription you can do so at any time. Simply contact our customer service team by submitting a request or phone 13 66 66.

Please note that at least 72 hours notice is required in advance of your next billing date. The cancellation will become effective at the end of your current billing period, so you can continue to enjoy the full benefits of your subscription until then.

If you have an automatic monthly renewal subscription, please note that this subscription is non-refundable and billing will stop from your next payment cycle upon cancellation.

How can I see when payments are scheduled or completed?

To view your payment schedule or history, simply log in and follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to My Account, located in the top right menu of brisbanetimes.com.au.
  2. Select the 'Billing Information' tab at the top.
  3. You can view and download past invoices from here. Monthly and annual subscriptions occur on the same date so you can see when your next payment will take place.

What's included in my subscription?

To view your subscription inclusions, simply log in and follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to My Account, located in the top right menu of brisbanetimes.com.au.
  2. Select 'Manage your subscription' from the quick links on the My Account homepage or navigate to the 'Subscriptions' tab.
  3. Here you'll be able to see 'My Package' for your subscription inclusions.

How do I get a copy of my payment invoice?

You can view your invoices in My Account. Simply log in and follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to My Account, located in the top right menu of brisbanetimes.com.au.
  2. Select the 'Billing Information' tab at the top.
  3. You can view and download past invoices from here.

Do I have to log in?

Yes, logging in ensures your news access is never interrupted and allows you to manage your subscription through My Account at any time.

To log in on your desktop, go to the top right of brisbanetimes.com.au, click 'Log in', and enter the username and password you created when you subscribed.

Remember that you need to log in to each device that you are using.

How do I log in across all my devices?

Log in across all of your devices by following the steps below.

  1. Click on 'Log in' in the top right of brisbanetimes.com.au.
  2. Enter the username and password you created when you subscribed and activated your digital access, and click 'Log in'.

I am logged in so why am I seeing 'Subscribe now' or a notification saying I have reached my article limit?

If you are a subscriber and you're seeing subscription prompts, it is likely that you are not logged in.

To double check, have a look in the top right corner of brisbanetimes.com.au. If the button says 'Log in' or 'Subscribe', then you are not logged in.

You can log in by entering your email address and the password you created when you subscribed and activated access.

Remember that you need to log in to each device that you are using. A maximum of six sessions is allowed at any time.

How can I see articles written by a specific author?

To see all of the articles written by a specific author, simply enter the journalist's name into the search box in the left menu. Alternatively, you can click on the journalist's name at the top of an article they have written.

How can I see articles written about a specific topic?

You can view all of the articles that cover a particular issue or find stories related to that topic by clicking on the topic tag at the bottom of the article.

How do I post comments on the site?

Join the conversation and submit a comment on an article. To make a comment you will need to ensure you are logged in. Once logged in, click on the 'Post comment' button to create a screen name.

All our comments are moderated before they are published. To maximise your chances of publication, please keep in mind our commenting guidelines.

How do I sign up to a newsletter?

You can sign up to newsletters via My Account by following the steps below.

  1. Log in to My Account from the top right menu of brisbanetimes.com.au.
  2. Select 'Manage your newsletters' from the quick links on the My Account homepage or navigate to the 'Newsletters' tab.
  3. Here you can sign up to the newsletters of your choice.

How do I opt out from a newsletter?

To opt out from a newsletter, simply scroll to the bottom of the email and click the 'unsubscribe' link found in the footer. You will receive a confirmation email once you have opted out.

Alternatively, subscribers and registered users can log in to My Account and follow the steps above for 'How do I sign up to a newsletter' to manage your newsletter preferences.

My newsletters are not being delivered, what do I do?

If you are not receiving email newsletters, there could be several different causes. Please try the following:

  1. Find your spam or junk mail folder. If the messages are in that folder, you will need to move them back into your inbox and mark the messages and/or the sender nameofnewsletter@email.brisbanetimes.com.au as a safe sender or a contact.
  2. If you do not find your newsletters in a spam or junk folder, contact your service provider (or IT resources if corporate) to see if there is an additional layer of protection applied.
